MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Shippensburg University junior Justin Garber went 3-for-5 and drove in a career-high four runs while four pitchers limited Millersville to just two runs on eight hits, pushing the Red Raiders to a 7-2 victory in a non-conference match-up at Millersville on Friday afternoon.
The victory is the fifth in a row and 10th in 11 games for the Red Raiders (13-11). It is also the third win over Millersville this season, as the Red Raiders swept a doubleheader by scores of 4-0 and 7-1 on March 27. Millersville, meanwhile, falls to 5-23 on the season.
Garber got the Red Raiders on the board in the first inning with an RBI single, scoring sophomore Tyler Redick, who led off the frame with a single of his own. Garber struck again in the third with a two run single to center.
The Red Raiders return to Fairchild Field on Saturday for a PSAC Western Division doubleheader against Indiana (Pa.). The first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Devils Sweep Series With 13-10 Win at Muhlenberg
The Dickinson College baseball team swept its Centennial Conference series with Muhlenberg. The Red Devils, coming off a 4-1 win at home, posted a 13-10 win on the road on Friday.
The Red Devils (6-16 overall, 2-4 CC) broke the game open with seven unearned runs in the fourth inning to pull in front 9-1. They added four more runs and held off a late rally by the Mules, who scored six in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Devils handle Gophers
The Dickinson College men's tennis team improved to 9-5 on the season with an 8-1 win over visiting Goucher College on Friday.
The Red Devils swept through the doubles to take an early 3-0 lead. They won four singles matches in straight sets, including a 6-3, 6-1 victory by first-year player Pavel Hejsek. Hejsek joined classmate Hunter Holbrook for a big 8-1 win at number two doubles.
First-year Matt Wood teamed with Trevor Heck for an 8-4 win in the third doubles light. Heck won in straight sets at number three singles. Eric Schoeder and Andrew Kastner won easily at five and six.
The Red Devils return to Centennial Conference action on Wednesday, traveling to Franklin & Marshall.
