Article RatingThe sixth annual Mechanicsburg Art Walk will be this Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. in the downtown.
More than 25 local artists will demonstrate their works at a number of locations, and many participating merchants will feature wine tasting.
Commemorative art walk wine glasses designed by local artists are available for purchase at the 2nd Floor Gallery at 105 S. Market Street and Gallerie Thirteen at 13 E. Main St.
Proceeds from the sale of the wine glasses support the art walk and annual Concerts on the Corner summer music series. Wine glasses cost $10 if purchased before Saturday and $12 the day of the event.
The art walk is sponsored by The Foot Traffic Committee, a group of downtown Mechanicsburg merchants, Main Street Mechanicsburg and the Mechanicsburg Chamber of Commerce.
The 2nd Floor Gallery, 105 S. Market St., will showcase the photography of artist Daryl Duckworth from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 19, during a wine and cheese reception.
A portion of the sale of Duckworth’s photography during the month of May will be donated to support breast cancer research.
