Person charged with harassment
A Carlisle-area resident was charged with harassment Saturday following an incident in the 200 block of Plaza Drive, South Middleton Township.
State police at Carlisle say Takita Consuell Brown hit a Boiling Springs-area resident in the face and head with a closed fist during a fight in a parking lot about 12:30 a.m.
Two people charged in fight
State police at Carlisle cited two people with harassment following an incident Friday in Betty Nelson Court, Lower Frankford Township.
Police say Marney Rae Little, 23, of Carlisle and Misty Lynn Rhinehart, 20, of Gardners got into an argument which turned physical about 10:58 p.m.
Orrstown man charged with trespass
State police in Carlisle charged an Orrstown area man with criminal trespass following an incident Friday in the first block of Scrafford Street, Shippensburg Township.
Police say when a woman found out that Joseph Lee Rhodes, 20, of the 11000 block of Hickory Run Road was seeing her teenage daughter, he was told to stay away from the house.
Police say when Rhodes came to the house about 10:30 p.m. Friday to see the daughter, the mother told him to leave but he did not.
When the mother called police, Rhodes left, police say.
Thieves steal $1,000 of tools
State police in Carlisle say about $1,000 worth of Craftsman tools were stolen from a property in the 200 block of Martin Road, Monroe Township, late last week.
Police say sometime between 5 p.m. Thursday and 5 p.m. Friday, someone entered two unsecured barns and removed a lawn sweeper, a plow for a lawn mower, a free standing table saw, a free standing drill press, a free standing jig saw, hand power tools and a chain saw.
Hit-and-run charges filed
A woman was cited after a hit-and-run accident Saturday in Duncannon, according to state police at Newport.
Police say Karen A. Shanafelter, 39, of Newport, was driving a red 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo at 2 a.m. when she struck shrubbery in the 300 block of High Street, then turned left on Lincoln Street and struck the back of a vehicle belonging to Joy Ritter, 28, of Duncannon, which was parked in the 300 block.
Dauphin area man hurt in assault
State police at Newport are investigating an assault by on a Dauphin area man Saturday in Duncannon.
Hospital and police sources say Shane Baymiller, 38, was taken to Hershey Medical Center for treatment of a head injury and released.
Baymiller told troopers he had been hit by an unknown person while in an unknown place, police say.
Upon returning to Duncannon, Baymiller said, he was involved in another argument with another unknown male in the first block of High Street about 4 a.m.
