Bobby Kohl and Devan Wieland each had three hits and Susquenita scored seven of its nine runs in the last two innings to beat Big Spring, 9-8.

Ben Smith went 3-for-4 to pace the Bulldogs.

Kyle Gilbert struck out six and didn’t issue a walk in a complete-game win.

Commonwealth

Central Dauphin 9, Cumberland Valley 5


Drew Kramer and Nick Valek each went 2-for-4 and scored two runs each for Cumberland Valley in a 9-5 loss to visiting Central Dauphin.

The Rams swept the season series from CV.

Kramer also had a double and knocked in arun while CD’s Zach Seaman knocked a grand slam in the fourth to provide the difference.

Keystone

Mechanicsburg 4,Middletown 2


Ben Anderson went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in the third and a double to lead Mechanicsburg to a 4-2 win over Middletown.

The Wildcats must win one of their final two games to earn a District 3-AAA playoff berth.

Matt Koveleski had a 2-for-3 day with a double to lead Mechanicsburg.

Capital

Trinity 6, Harrisburg 1


Will Kerr hit a solo home run and Mike Hnatuck knocked a two-run triple in the third as Trinity bounced visiting Harrisburg, 6-1.

A.J. Weaver scattered seven hits and struck out four while allowing one earned run to for the win.

Greencastle-Antrim 7, Boiling Springs 0

A.M. Beam, Mike Myers and Darren Bowman had Boiling Springs’ three hits in a 7-0 loss to visiting Greencastle-Antrim.

The Blue Devils clinched the Mid-Penn Capital Division with the win.

R.J. Heinlen struck out seven and walked one but suffered the complete-game loss.

Sean Kane was 1-for-2 to pace the Shamrocks.

Camp Hill 8, Milton Hershey 1

Seth Crossley knocked in five runs to help Camp Hill pull away from Milton Hershey late for an 8-1 win.

Tyler Shover struck out five in three innings of work for the win.

The Lions scored five runs in the sixth inning to break open a 3-1 game.

CCAC

Mount Calvary 12, Bible Baptist 7


Charlie Fitzpatrick was 3-for-4 and Nick Brinson was 2-for-3 to lead Bible Baptist in a 12-7 loss to Bible Baptist.

Brinson hit a triple and had two RBIs for the Bobcats, who are still alive for the final CCAC playoff spot with the Christian School of York.

Josh Loffredo’s 2-for-4 outing was the only other multi-hit effort for Bible Baptist.

Non-division

Central Dauphin East 5, East Pennsboro 4


Shawn Myers went 3-for-4 and scored twice for East Pennsboro but the visiting Panthers couldn’t keep Central Dauphin East off the scoreboard in the bottom of the seventh in a tough 5-4 loss.

Matt Porter, Max Miller and Andrew Fowler had two hits apiece for East Pennsboro.

Bobby Lehman threw a complete-game but suffered the loss.

SOFTBALL

Commonwealth

Carlisle 4, Chambersburg 1


Lindsay Sullivan’s two-run double was the difference as the Thundering Herd defeated Chambersburg 4-1 Monday afternoon.

Maggie Maurice followed Sullivan’s shot with a RBI single for good measure. Carlisle starter Amber Holsopple went the distance striking out four and scattering seven hits.

The loss by Chambersburg officially locked up the Commonwealth title for Central Dauphin.

Central Dauphin 3, Cumberland Valley 2

Falicia Whitmer connected on a solo home run, but it wasn’t enough as Central Dauphin held off a late Eagles push to win 3-2.

Keystone

Middletown 6, Mechanicsburg 1


Jenny Kutzner doubled and scored a run, but Mechanicsburg was held to just four hits in a 6-1 loss to Middletown.

Capital

Trinity 8, Harrisburg 0


Kelsey Calaitges and Caroline Lauer each knocked in two runs as the Shamrocks defeated Harrisburg 8-0. Alexa Barbush, Shannon Crane, Carolina Lapano each picked up a RBI in the win. Lapano allowed just two hits and struck out 10.

Trinity was also informed that Steel-High would forfeit Wednesday’s game, meaning the Shamrocks complete the regular season 13-5 overall and await word on who they will play in the upcoming District 3-AA playoffs.

Camp Hill 17, Milton Hershey 15

Jamie Mowery knocked in three runs while Brittany Hench and Lexie Ditlow each knocked in a pair as Camp Hill won a wild 17-15 decision over Milton Hershey.

The Lions rallied from doqn 15-13 to score four runs in the top of the seventh.

Colonial

Big Spring 5, Susquenita 2


The Bulldogs kept their playoff hopes alive with a 5-2 decision over Susquenita.

Kayla Shoap struck out 10 and walked just two in the victory.

Big Spring must defeat both Camp Hill and Boiling Springs this week to qualify for the postseason.

Waynesboro 11, Northern 0

Taryn Ashway struck out 14 and allowed just two hits as Waynesboro defeated Northern 14-0.

Megan Schultz picked up the two hits for the Polar Bears.

Shippensburg 5, West Perry 1

Brooke Varner drove in two as Shippensburg knocked off West Perry 5-1.

Varner finished 1-for-3 and also scored a run in the victory. Brittany Reese went 3-for-3 for the Greyhounds.

Katie Shambaugh, Quinn Reisinger and Chara Dixon each picked up a hit in the loss for the Mustangs.

Nondivision

CD East 7, East Pennsboro 3


Kacie Duncan went 2-for-3 with a run scored and Renee Guida also picked up two hits and a run in the loss for East Pennsboro.

Girls’ Soccer

Annville-Cleona 2, Big Spring 1


The Bulldogs couldn’t keep up with the Little Dutchmen in the second half of their 2-1 loss Monday. M. Kuntz scored Big Spring’s lone goal on an assist from T. Arbegast.

Boiling Springs 5, Susquehanna Twp. 0

The Bubblers buried the Indians 5-0 Monday. Lindsey Keagly, Katie McMahon, Angela Corcoran (2) and Summer Wert all scored goals for Boiling Springs.

The Bubblers (10-8) hosts Northern on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Shippensburg 9, West Perry 0

Five goals in the first half weren’t enough for the Greyhounds, as they defeated the Mustangs 9-0 Monday.

Greyhound Katie Shoop recorded a hat trick.

Shippensburg 911-4-2) will travel to Palmyra on Wednesday.

Girls’ Lacrosse

Carlisle 7, Lower Dauphin 4


The Thundering Herd scored three unanswered goals in the final five minutes to break a 4-4 stalemate and defeat the Falcons 7-4 Monday. Dakota McCoy and Emily Nunez each scored two goals for Carlisle.

The Thundering Herd (9-5) will travel to Warwick on Wednesday.
