Daniel O’Sullivan was flown to Hershey Medical Center after he was trapped in his 2001 Ford Focus following a two-car crash in Middlesex Township Sunday, according to Middlesex Township police.

O’Sullivan, 61, of Mechanicsburg, was one of several people who suffered injuries in the crash, which happened at 12:20 p.m. on Route 11 in front of Carlisle County Club and is still under investigation, police said.

Initial indications are that O’Sullivan was headed north when he collided with the front driver’s side of a 2008 Saturn driven by Angela Wolf, 38, of Carlisle, police said.

The Saturn, which carried numerous people, rolled over, police said, noting that those occupants were taken to Carlisle Regional Medical Center. O’Sullivan had to be extricated from the Focus, police said.

Police ask anyone with information about the crash to call 249-7191.

No further information was available.
