Christopher Dale Turner was arrested Thursday on charges stemming from two burglaries in Upper Allen Township in which a handgun and jewelry were taken, according to Upper Allen Township police.

Turner, 33, formerly a resident of Mechanicsburg but now with no fixed address, was arrested about 3 p.m. in the apartment of a female acquaintance in the 400 block of Hogestown Road in Silver Spring Township, police said. Silver Spring Township police assisted at the scene.

Turner was lodged in Cumberland County Prison on $100,000 bail on charges of burglary, theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and receiving stolen property, police said, noting that he is also wanted in Indiana and Kentucky and will be held as a fugitive from justice for those states.
