Pa. man accused of armed robbery after police track rejected card
QUAKERTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Police say a plastic trail has led to an arrest in the armed robbery of a Bucks County video game store last week.
Officials say a man entered the GameStop store in Richland Township just before the 9 p.m. closing time, showed a semi-automatic handgun and stole a $350 Xbox console.
Township police Officer Ray Aleman says the man first swiped a bank card that was rejected, however. So Aleman obtained a court order and identified the account holder as 22-year-old Corrie Killough of Tinicum Township.
He obtained a photo of Killough, and the store’s assistant manager identified him as the robber in a photo lineup. Killough was arrested Tuesday on charges including felony robbery and a firearms offense. He’s jailed in lieu of $75,000 bail. It’s not immediately known if he has an attorney.
