Isaac Sweeney, Shandon Walker and Andy Shoemaker all went 2-for-2 in the seventh inning as Cumberland scored eight runs to shock Loysville, 9-8, in the opening game of a doubleheader at George Bowen Field.

Shoemaker eventually scored the winning run as David Dukes went 3-for-4 with three RBIs to pace the Dodgers.

In the second game Francisco Dongo went 3-for-4 with three doubles as Cumberland completed the sweep, 5-4.

Rey Mora pitched in tow doubles while Dukes was 2-for-4.

In the seventh inning of a 3-3 game, Dukes and Dongo each ripped RBI doubles for the winning runs.

Adam Sheibley hit two doubles in the nightcap for Loysville.

Dauphin 1-1, Fayetteville 0-2

Fayetteville avoided a sweep via Chris Shearer’s solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to beat Dauphin, 2-1, in the capper of a doubleheader Saturday.

In the first game Cal Rafferty’s RBI single accounted for the game’s only run.

Shippensburg 11-9, Central Penn 3-3

Brian Ramsey was 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored to help Shippensburg beat Central Penn, 11-3, in the opening game of a doubleheader.

Andrew Burke and Toby Souders each went 3-for-4 in the nightcap as the Stars completed the sweep, 9-3.

For the day Shippensburg scored 20 runs on 28 hits as the pitchers — Tim Martin and Joe Quick — tossed complete games.

Enola 10-14, Mt. Holly 0-0

Jared Frey went 4-for-4 with three runs scored two RBIs and teammate Chuck Roller finished 3-for-3 as lead Enola at 14-0, five-inning rout of Mt. Holly on Saturday.

Enola started the day behind Cory Meyers, who threw a six-inning no-hitter as the team won, 10-0. Meyers struck out six, walked one and threw 51 pitches.

Ken Mast went 3-for-3 and Matt Lingo 2-for-2 to lead the winners.

Mechanicsburg 11, Newville 6

Arturo Figueroa hit a three-run home run and Jas Altieri added a solo shot as Mechanicsburg downed Newville, 11-6, Saturday.

Lewy Reese collected two doubles and two home runs for Newville.

Eric Weltmer tossed a complete-game for the win.
