Duncannon motorcyclist injured in crash Friday

Ralph E. Stuckey was taken to Hershey Medical Center Friday with moderate injuries after he hit the back of a vehicle and was thrown from his 1984 Harley-Davidson FXRS motorcycle, according to state police at Harrisburg.

Stuckey, 52, of Duncannon, was not wearing a helmet or any protective gear and had been headed west on Route 22 near the Dauphin exit when the crash happened at 9:50 p.m., police said. The vehicle Stuckey hit fled the scene, police said.

Stuckey was charged with a traffic violation, police said, noting that their investigation continues.

Hospital staff reported Stuckey was treated and released.
