The Perry County Commissioners recently announced the development of the Perry County “Door-to-Door Household Hazardous Waste Program.”

Residents of Perry County can call 1-800-HHW-PKUP to schedule the collection of HHW directly from their homes for a charge of $15.

Prior to pick-up, residents are shipped a HHW kit that includes a container to hold the materials collected. Residents do not have to be at home when materials are collected. Some senior and disabled residents may be eligible for in-home assistance in gathering and packing their materials.
