In the first, a 13-year-old Gardners boy is charged with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child and indecent assault of a 4-year-old Gardners girl, police said.

The incident happened in a private residence along the Appalachian Trail in South Middleton Township between 5 and 7 a.m. on May 11, police said.

In the second, a 14-year-old Camp Hill boy is charged with aggravated indecent assault of a child and indecent assault. The victim is an 11-year-old Etters girl, police said.

The incident happened at Mountain Creek Camp Ground in Dickinson Township between 6 and 6:20 a.m. Aug. 25, police said.

Charges in both cases have been approved and filed with the Cumberland County Juvenile Probation Department, police said, noting that due to the ages of those involved, no further information will be released.
