Here are Thursday's Sentinel police reports:

Items stolen from Upper Frankford campground

Three people had items stolen from campsites at an Upper Frankford Township campground between 10 a.m. Sept. 1 and 6 p.m. Monday, according to state police at Carlisle.

Barrick’s Campground is on Center Road, police said, and the campsites were unattended at the time of the thefts.




Acid thrown on Corvette

Someone dumped acid on a 1985 Corvette, damaging the paint, in the 40 block of Morris Road in Watts Township, according to state police at Newport.

Police said the incident occurred between Aug. 23 and Aug. 24.




Stereo face plate stolen

A stereo face plate was stolen from a parked vehicle in the 100 block of North Front Street in Newport.

State police at Newport said the theft happened between 6 p.m. Aug. 29 and 5 p.m. Sept. 1.

Laptop taken from Spring Township home

A Landisburg resident reported that a laptop was stolen from her Spring Township residence.

According to state police at Newport, the theft on Landisburg Road occurred Aug. 16.




Camp Hill man injured in motorcycle crash

Albert Arustamyan, 21, of Camp Hill, was injured Wednesday afternoon after losing control of his motorcycle in the 1200 block of South Market Street in Upper Allen Township.

Arustamyan, a resident of the 100 block of West Clearview Drive, drove over one of the road repair patches in the area at approximately 12:50 p.m. and was thrown from the bike, according to Upper Allen Township police.

He was transported to University Hospital in Hershey, where he was treated for his injuries.

The accident remains under investigation, pending witness interviews. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact police directly at 795-2445, or through Cumberland County Control at 238-9676.




Garage window shot out in Carlisle

A window in the N.L. Minich and Sons garage was shot out between Friday and Monday, according to Carlisle police.

The garage is to the rear of the business at 130 N. College St., police said.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call 243-5252.
