Edward Gunkle was arrested on Oct. 8 after he got into a fight with a 29-year-old man and threatened to shoot the man and a 58-year-old woman, according to state police at Newport.

The incident happened at 9:20 p.m. in the 300 block of North Fourth Street in Newport Borough in Perry County, police said.

Gunkle, 61, of the same address, was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, resisting arrest, harassment and disorderly conduct and lodged in Perry County Prison on $10,000 bail, police said.
