Denise Bowers, 26, of Carlisle, was arrested on multiple charges Thursday after she hit a cyclist with her car about 10:25 p.m. in the first block of West High Street.

Carlisle police said Bowers was driving under the influence of intoxicants, without insurance and she had an expired inspection.

The cyclist, Mark Clark, 55, address unknown, suffered minor injuries as a result of the accident, police said. He was treated and released at Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
