A man has been accused of throwing a beer can that hit a woman’s face, according to state police at Carlisle.

Dannie Lee Stephenson, 45, of Shippensburg, and a woman were involved in a verbal and physical argument at 1:14 p.m. Jan. 7 in the 100 block of Chamberlin Road in Hopewell Township when the incident happened, police said.

Stephenson was charged with simple assault and harassment, police said, and bail was set at $10,000.
